5G or fifth generation of wireless technology has the capability of several gigabytes per second speed. All networks could be gathered at one platform with uninterrupted connectivity. Non-ionizing radiations of 5g have adverse effects on all systems of the body. As reported by research, 5g will not only affect eyes and skin but also the overall genetic makeup.
PTA has allowed only testing and trials of 5g under a limited environment. Zong and jazz have conducted speed tests. A license for 5G is expected to be issued by Pakistan telecommunication authority this year.
Another difficult but necessary thing is to research the impact of 5G on citizens. This too will require a lot of investment. It's short-range requires more feeders for particular area coverage. This 5G will work only on expensive smartphones.
Another reason is that 5G is not for mainstream use for now. Lots of investment is required for making 5G devices. Otherwise, this revolution will be postponed.
