Taliban have taken over and set up their government in the country. Army Chief and Head of Govt are announced. Afghanistan is step ahead to peace and stability.
Mullah Hasan Akhund has been declared the head of the government, a man who is on the sanctions list of the United Nations.

Previously he was also the head of a decision-making body of the Taliban, named Rehbar-e-Shura. Abdul Ghani Baradar has been named as the deputy leader. Moreover, Sirajuddin Haqqani, a member of the Haqqani Network, has been appointed as the interior minister.

Mullah Mohammad Yaqoob will be the defense minister while Hedayatullah Badri has been announced as the acting minister of finance. The person named to be the foreign minister is Amir Khan Muttaqi who was previously a Taliban negotiator in Doha.
Mawlawi Taj Mir Jawad has been named as the deputy chief of intelligence.
Sheikh Mawlawi Noorullah Munir has been assigned as the minister of education. No women have been included in the government even though concerns were raised over this.

The chief spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced this list of cabinet members on Tuesday 7th September 2021 and stressed that it was an ‘acting’ government. The United States expressed their concerns on the track records of some of the people that have been given important seats in the government of Afghanistan.
